The State of the District Address
Come and join us at our Annual State of the District Address and learn about what’s happening in your police district.
Find out how our citizens have impacted the way that police services are delivered in our community.
Receive up to date information about crime statistics, traffic violations, joint City agencies operations, drug enforcement, the Strategic Planning committee, the Community Services Office, Neighborhood Crime Watch organizations, and Police-Community Partnerships.

TROPICAL FIESTA Annual Fundraiser
Date: Saturday, March 3
Time: 4pm-12am (See schedule below.)
Location: Spontaneous Celebrations
Tickets: Dinner Special - Members: $20, Non-Members: $25 (These tickets are good for all festivities & dinner.)
Kids 5 and over: $10, Under 5: Free
After 9pm - Members: $10, Non-Members $15
All proceeds from the event will go to Spontaneous Celebrations youth programs.
Advanced tickets can be purchased at the following JP businesses: Video Underground, Boing, and The Honeyspot. Advanced tickets come with 5 free raffle tickets.
The young people of Beantown Society, Spontaneous Celebrations’ by youth, for youth high school program are working hard to turn our community arts center in Jamaica Plain into a Tropical Rainforest. Complete with a jungle canopy, colorful murals, and hand made monkeys this will be a sight not to miss for people of all ages. If the winter blues have got you down, dig out your summer clothes and come join us as we turn up the heat for the Tropical Fiesta.
Tropical Fiesta is a two-part event. The first part, from 4pm-8pm includes craft activities, children’s performances, and dinner. The performances will include a puppet show, as well as a drumming dancing, and stilt walking performance by the Spontaneous Celebrations youth performance troupe. After 8pm, the Tropical dance party begins with youth led Salsa and Hip-Hop dance lessons. Music and dancing will continue until midnight. Beer & wine will be served in addition to non-alcoholic tropical drinks.

6pm: Dinner
8pm-12am: Tropical Dance Party
