1 BR available in 2 BR condo; $725 includes utilities

Available Sept 1st or earlier.

Bedroom is 12 x 12 with decent closet and ceiling fan. It faces south (gets morning sunlight!) and looks over a community garden (ie. no neighbors peeking in!)

Unit is 2nd floor in a 3-decker. It has LR, DR, kitchen, front and back porch, yard (with BBQ!), washer/dryer. Some storage in basement. Generous on-street parking. On a quiet street and across from a community garden and dog run. I’ll have wireless access by September.

Apartment is well-furnished, so there’s not much room for additional stuff. Bedroom is not furnished (but I know someone who’s selling a bed!).

Close to Green St T, Forest Hills T and #39 bus, as well as Doyle’s and the Midway Cafe.

Home is tended by a very friendly cat. I’d consider a dog or other pet, but not another feline.

About me: I’m a friendly independent 36 y.o. female who will be attending graduate school full time in 07-08. I like to keep a clean home, although it’s not always the neatest (I do have my piles…). I like to cook, garden, talk politics and study Latin percussion. I own the condo, so you can trust that the heat and hot water are going to work!

About you: I am looking for a person who is enjoyable to be around but doesn’t take up too much physical or emotional space - someone I’d enjoy hanging out with on occassion but who also understands if I need to hunker down and focus on my school work. Also someone who is willing to feed the cat on occassion when I’m away.

I’d prefer a roommate who eats/lives healthy, generally organic, so occassional food-sharing is more easily managed.

$725/month - includes most utilities (you chip in for heat when the bill is over $100 - happens a few months a year and lets you feel more able to turn up the heat to your liking!).

Prefer minimal TV/movie watching.
